Peterson Health employee killed by alleged intoxicated driver on her way to work Sunday morning

Kendall County, TX – February 18, 2025 – A Boerne woman is dead following a two-vehicle collision Sunday morning, and a San Antonio man is now facing multiple felony charges. The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. near the I-10 exit to Comfort.

53-year-old Manuela Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene. Boerne Star reports that she was on her way to work at Peterson Health.

27-year-old Allen Graham is in custody at the Kendall County Jail, charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. His bond is set at $480,000. Graham is also facing 21 counts of drug possession, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office website.

Witnesses reported a Nissan pickup truck and a flipped-over Toyota Corolla at the scene. Graham was driving the Nissan, according to Boerne Star. One of the two passengers in Graham’s vehicle were treated for minor injuries at Boerne Methodist Hospital and released.
